Terms and Conditions


I (Client) agree to pay Bluce Corp to fix or repair, analyze, troubleshoot and setup my computer hardware or software at a rate of $65 per hour. Minimum charge is $65.00. Time will be billed to the nearest 1/4 hour.

I (Client) understand that computerguyus.com is owned and operated by Bluce Corp a Florida base company.

  • Payment of $65.00 for the first hour is due prior to remote access or login to Client computer.

  • All work completed at workshop / house / office or business visit shall be paid in full upon completion of the work order. All payments shall be made to Bluce Corp.

  • Payment of one hour or more may be secured using a credit card pre-authorized using Paypal / Square prior to the support call. You will see this as a charge on your credit card, but payment has not been completed until after the call is over.
  • Bluce Corp does accept checks, these must be pre-approved. No appointments will be booked without a check send to the offices of Bluce Corp.
  • Cash is welcome for in-store or home and office visits only.
  • Billing starts at the time of the appointment. Missed/canceled appointments will be billed one full hour if not canceled within 24 hours.

Although computerguyus.com will endeavor to conduct all activities in a timely manner, I understand that troubleshooting issues may be a time-consuming process and agree to pay Bluce Corp for troubleshooting time as necessary. If computerguyus.com is requested to conduct further research on a specific issue, Client will not be billed for research time off-site, but will be billed for research time while at Client site/computer. computerguyus.com reserves the right to recommend another IT company if the troubleshooting requires the assistance of another IT company to assist. Client will contract with the other IT company separately.

computerguyus.com will install any free programs that you grant permission/ask us to install, while we always try to do our best with the installations, some free programs do not work on all computer systems. If we install a free program for you and you have problems with it, we will uninstall it, but will not give continued free support on the product. Regular bill rates apply.

I also certify that I will indemnify and hold harmless Bluce Corp/computerguyus.com for any and all data or software that may be lost or erased, as well as for any consequence of the erasure or loss of that data or software. Although Bluce Corp/computerguyus.com will take every precaution to preserve all data and software on the computer, I acknowledge that occasionally data loss will occur and/or software operation may be compromised. If I require training in backup methods and procedures, Bluce Corp/computerguyus.com will provide that training to me at an additional rate of $65 per hour. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless computerguyus.com for any and all hardware or software malfunctions or accidents that may occur before, during or after work is performed on Client computer, and for any results thereof.

Virus Removals: I also certify that I will indemnify and hold harmless and will pay for added support to computerguyus.com for any software repairs necessary after a virus has been detected and removed off a computer. Viruses in a computer can cause many problems, we cannot control what or how the virus affected the computer before our removal.

We have a 30 day guarantee on our virus/malware removals. If within 30 days you suspect you have an instance returning, please call us immediately. If after 30 days and you have a returned infection, we will discuss what AV products you purchased and decide on the best level of support. There is no guarantee or warranty that a virus will never get through any product either purchase by computerguyus.com or any other brand you buy online or off the shelf.

Confidentiality Agreement: Any private information stored on your computer or viewed by our computer repair technicians during a remote support call will be held confidential unless required by law. Due to the requirements of the repair, if approved by you, the client we will back up your data to insure its integrity. This is done to ensure that a customer has all the files they need when a computer is returned after a restore. During a remote support call, the data is always backed up to the client computer or external hard drive. We do not back up the data on computerguyus.com servers. If requested, we will destroy any copies of your data immediately after the repair is complete. If requested, we will hold your data for 30 days. Any private or personal information provided to computerguyus.com will be kept confidential.

Prices

All prices are subject to change without notice. The prices shown in this online catalog supersede all previous catalogs. However, we cannot control price increases by our suppliers. We also reserve the right to correct misprints. We will notify you before charging you more than the price shown in this catalog during the online catalog's life.

Open Account Billing Terms

Open accounts are available to companies rated "good" or higher by D&B, government agencies and recognized educational and research institutions. To open an account, please provide us with bank reference and account numbers and two trade references. Download our Credit Application (PDF 80KB).

Purchase Orders

Please provide us with a Purchase Order Number. Your issuance of a purchase order will be deemed to be an assent to these terms and to any terms contained in any Quotation we provide or have provided you. They supersede any inconsistent provisions contained on your purchase order.

Checks

We welcome your check. Please note: Checks returned unpaid by your financial institution are subject to a Service Charge of the maximum allowed by law. Checks returned for insufficient or uncollected funds, together with Service Charges, may be debited electronically from your account or collected using a bank draft drawn from your account.

Shipping

Unless merchant and customer specifically agree otherwise in writing, all shipments are made by us. Customers can specify their shipping carrier by selecting their own freight collect account (UPS and Fedex options) in the Cart Checkout Process or by contacting our Sales Department.

We offer three shipping methods: Standard: 3 – 8 Business Days, Priority: 2 – 3 Business Days, and Express: 1 Business Day. Each has its own associated shipping rate (as outlined in the following Shipping Charges Table). Also, there are additional charges for Oversized Items, and HazMat shipping (detailed below). Note: Any date of delivery is only an estimate and we will have no liability for late or partial deliveries. We may refuse to fulfill any order for any reason. We have no responsibility for loss or damage to the goods after we have delivered them to any common carrier..

 

Virus Removal Services

 

Required to be read by all clients asking for virus removals

  • We offer a 30 day guarantee on our removals.
  • If within 30 days you see a virus return, please call us immediately.
  • If you see an infection after 30 days, please call us immediately and we will not charge a full $99, but we will have a charge of $65 to continue to remove the latest virus.
  • Software destroyed by a virus is not repairable under the $99 virus removal fee. Any software in need of repair will be billed at our normal rates.
  • Some Viruses delete and/or corrupt files and are sometimes beyond repair.
  • There is no guarantee or warranty that a virus will never get through any product either purchased by Bluce Corp or any other brand you buy online or off the shelf.

Reminders about your products purchased with computerguyus.com

  • Please do the updates when they ask you to do an update. If you need assistance updating to a newer version we can help you for free.
  • Please make sure that you see the little AVG or Defender icon and the blue Malware bytes icon at the right hand corner of your toolbar. Be sure they are there, that means you are protected.
  • Microsoft Security Essentials is not a purchased product but a free product that Microsoft puts out.
  • We do not do any free support on free products. If you are having issues with Microsoft Security Essentials, we recommend you speak to Microsoft or remove the program and get another free or paid Antivirus program.

Notes about viruses!

  • Viruses are released on a daily basis. Like all products ours do not get the latest definitions of the newest virus sometime up to a week later.
  • You may have a window of time that a virus can get in your computer.
  • We cannot control how fast the products do their updates.
